Speaking after Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) crossed 500 million tonnes of cargo, Adani shared a personal memory of driving overnight from Ahmedabad to Mundra with Malay Mahadevia. Driving overnight from Ahmedabad, he described how the region looked like an “endless mass of land” rather than the future logistics hub it is today. Adani said their biggest strength was youthful optimism and willingness to take risks, long before understanding the full meaning of failure.
